At Imperia Bank, you have the option to open Foreign Currency and Foreign Exchange Accounts in these key currencies:

  • US Dollar (USD)
  • Pound Sterling (GBP)
  • Euro (EUR)

The features and benefits of our Foreign Currency and Foreign Exchange Current Accounts are as follows:

  • No minimum account balance
  • No service charge on account

Requirement

  • Complete an Account Opening Form.
  • Attach a passport-sized photograph.
  • Provide a Valid ID Card.
  • Submit proof of residence (e.g. utility bill, sketch to residence, etc.).
  • A valid resident permit is required for the non-Europeans resident in Europe.
  • A letter of Introduction would be required from any of the following:
  1. An Imperia Bank current account holder
  2. Employers
  3. A reputable individual of good standing (i.e. senior public office holder, a recognized professional lawyers, doctors, accountants, senior banking officials, reputable religious leaders) – subject to verification/confirmation by the Bank.
